Great location only a 10 minute walk to the Christmas market and square. Staff were fantastic and very helpful. Baby cot was already set up in the room for us (we requested at booking but most hotels weve stayed at either forget or leave you to unpack the cot). Bar areas were nice and the underground parking great. Our room was a good size and was very clean. Had everything we needed. Breakfast was excellent. Sausage, scrambled egg, boiled eggs, bacon, cheeses, fruit, lots of breads, pancakes and a waffle machine - really good.

The room was large, well appointed and care had been taken to provide extra things, like an ironing board and iron, extra pillows, thick towel ing bath robes, decent sized China mugs, for the coffee and tea station, as well as cups and saucers and glasses. There were complimentary soft drinks in the fridge, as well as bottled water. I requested sheets and blankets, rather than a duvet, which was there for my arrival.

Lovely hotel, free ice lollies for kids on check in, and also some little wooden puzzle games for them to keep. A glass of champagne for my husband and I as it was our wedding anniversary. Room was great, spacious and comfortable. Loved the Nespresso machine as well. Good to have table football & ping pong to keep us entertained on a rainy evening! Breakfast was amazing, machines to make your own pancakes, crepes and boil your own eggs. Good selection of pastries and hot breakfast items too. Staff were very friendly & helpful.

Very nicely surprised by this Mercure, definitely better appointed than others I've stayed in. Room was modern, spotless, and quite comfortable for three people, with a partial view of the towers in the old town to boot. The lobby area was great, very cosy and with some free games -my child was excited by the foosball and the arcade-style videogame. There was a parking (about £10 a day, so we could leave the car there for the morning after check-out) with direct access to the hotel, and the old town was just a 5-minute walk away. Great for one night, I'd come back.

We used the hotel as a stop over heading from the Alps to the UK, we were pleasantly surprised as to how good the hotel was for the cost. Modern interior, great room and very comfy beds, diner and breakfast was top quality as were the wines. They even let us put on the 6 nations rugby on the big screen in the bar which was the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Arrived late at the hotel after a 7.5 hour drive. All the staff were amazing! A special mention to Oceane and Melodie who really helped with sorting out dinner and helping with activities for the kids, they went truly about and beyond and I’m so appreciative. I can highly recommend the hotel to anyone. Underground parking was a huge positive too and at a really reasonable rate. Thanks to all at the hotel made our stopover very easy.

We had an upgrade to privelidge room which was spacious and came with tea/coffee, water and a couple of soft drinks. The location of the hotel is close to the old town and also the rail station. The underground parking was particularly appreciated and made access easy with bags etc. Bar was good and prices reasonable. Breakfast was very good. Staff were freindly and efficient. Value for price paid was very good.
